From Ipswich take the A1071 bypassing Hintlesham on the Hadleigh bypass turn right signposted Lavenham onto the A1141. Bear left still on the A1141 towards Lavenham and proceed in to the village of Monks Eleigh. Where the road bears sharply to the left proceed straight on signposted Kettlebaston. Continue until a give way and turn left towards Preston St Mary. Proceed through the village at the give way turn left and Rise Farm will be seen on the left hand side after about one mile.
