Poppy bank is a beautifully presented semi-detached Cotswold stone property within a few minutes walk to Chipping Campden's high street. The current owners have updated the property considerably and now offers a wonderful family home set centrally within its own gardens and grounds. The entrance hall with cloakroom off leads to the impressive double-aspect sitting room. This wonderful room with a flagstone floor has a central stone fireplace with a wood burner, plantation shutters to the windows and double doors out to the rear terrace. There is a snug room also off the hallway with an open fireplace, which then leads into, no doubt, the heart of the home. The kitchen/dining room has a full range of fitted wall and base units and a central island. Integrated appliances include double side-by-side ovens, a warming drawer, a hob, a dishwasher and space for an American-style fridge freezer. There is plenty of space for a dining room table with double doors out to the rear garden. Upstairs are four double bedrooms, three of which have en suite shower rooms. The principal bedroom has a Juliette balcony in which to enjoy the wonderful views to the rear across the Cotswold fields. The family bathroom has a separate roll-top bath and shower. Solid oak floors can be found throughout the entire first floor.
Poppybank is set centrally within its own gardens and grounds; looking front, you see the views of the hills backing onto Chipping Campden with large trees. The sweeping drive has plenty of space for parking several cars. The gardens to the front are laid to lawn with mature trees, shrubs and mature wisteria. There is also side access to the rear gardens. The gardens have been beautifully landscaped by the current owners and offer a large rear terrace that runs the entire length of the property and offers a wonderful space for al fresco entertaining.

Chipping Campden is an internationally recognised thriving market town in the Cotswolds and one of England's Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It is well known for its lovely stone houses and cottages with traditional Cotswold architecture, much of it dating back to medieval times. There are plenty of excellent shops, restaurants, hotels, specialist outlets (including a wine merchant), doctor's surgery, and at the very centre of the town, the ancient market square itself.

According to the renowned historian Trevelyan, the town is known as the "jewel of the Cotswolds" and is reputed to have the finest High Street in England. Chipping Campden is also noted for its outstanding primary and secondary schools, which are ranked amongst the highest achieving schools by the result, together with an excellent selection of state and private schools to suit most requirements in Moreton-in-Marsh, Stratford upon Avon, and Cheltenham. Cheltenham, Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa provide excellent regional shopping facilities. For the commuter, there is easy access to both the M5 and M40 and regular intercity trains to London from Moreton-in-Marsh.
