A panelled front door opens into the entrance hall, with under stairs storage, a door to the rear porch, and a cloakroom/ boot room with basin and WC.
The sitting room has a fireplace with log burner, and a step leads down to a snug/ study area with French doors to the garden. The dining room has double aspect windows and overlooks the garden at the side, storage cupboards, and a door to the kitchen/ breakfast room. This good size room has been fitted with an excellent range of modern units in a soft grey/ green colour including a central island with breakfast bar and oven drawers beneath, a gas hob, double oven, space for a dishwasher, additional storage cupboards, stable door to the side garden and double doors to the conservatory. This has been built in keeping with the house with brick side walls, a glass roof and French doors to the rear garden. The owners enjoy this as a day room and summer dining room.
Approached from the rear porch is a utility cupboard having plumbing for a washing machine, also housing the gas fired central heating boiler.
From the hall, stairs lead up to the first floor landing with linen cupboard. The main bedroom has a fitted wardrobe, and a modern en suite shower room with basin and WC. There are three further double bedrooms and modern family bathroom with bath, basin, WC and generous airing cupboard with radiator.
A shared driveway leads along the side of the house to the attached Single Garage with up and over door, light and power, together with parking spaces in front and at the side. Unrestricted parking is also available on the road.
The pretty cottage gardens are a particularly delightful feature of the house, arranged in two sections, both mainly walled. The garden at the side is secluded and planted with a wide variety of perennials, lavender and box, fruit trees, small greenhouse and brick store, formerly the privy.
The rear garden, also well secluded has herbaceous borders and beds, fruit trees including apple, plum and quince, a shed and a compost area. There are sitting areas in both gardens that face south and west, perfect for summer entertaining.
