The Limes is sheltered housing for people in later life but we stand out as being a bit different to the rest. We include your heating, lighting and council tax in the rent along with 3 meals a day so there is no cooking and no shopping for food (except for your own extra special treats). Our communal dining room and lounge enable residents to meet together to enjoy the superb food that we are known for.
Our house provides a warm and friendly welcome in a peaceful and caring environment for just 12 people. We want all our residents to feel completely at home and furnishing your flat with your most treasured possessions, furniture, pictures and photographs quickly helps to make it home.
Our staff team are dedicated and caring and helps to ensure that all who live here feel valued, happy and safe whilst also encouraging independence.

Not ready for a care home but wishing you had a little more support and would enjoy a little bit of company? Then living at The Limes could be just right for you.
We are a local long established charity called The Abbeyfield Society providing housing for older people.
