Uplyme is approx. 1 and a half miles away and has a variety of local amenities including a petrol station, post office, church, school, village hall with cricket pavilion and play area and a friendly pub with a delightful beer garden.
Under 3 miles away is the bustling and picturesque town of Lyme Regis. Lyme is part of the stunning Jurassic Coast which stretches from Dorset to East Devon. The town has a thriving heart offering convenience and bespoke shopping of a surprising variety for a town of its size, as well as a number of renowned popular restaurants and historic hotels. The town has a good provision of day to day amenities including a health centre, churches, well regarded primary and secondary schooling. Lyme has a fantastic family beach with golden sands, shallow waters and charming rock pools ideal for intrepid little explorers.
The whole area is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has excellent walking and opportunities for a number of pursuits.
Fallowfields is a convenient 4 miles away from the mainline station at Axminster with services to London Waterloo, making the area an ideal weekend or holiday retreat with excellent road and rail access further westwards into Devon and Cornwall. The larger historic cities of Exeter and Bath are accessible by road or rail to cater for further needs.
The property is approached with 2 separate driveways. On one side of the property there is off road parking leading to the double garage with single door, power and light.
The property can also be accessed via a gated entrance off the road providing extra off road parking. The gardens wrap around Fallowfields and are mainly laid to lawn with shrub and trees.
