We have loved living on Ashton Gate Road. We’ve had the best of both worlds with a quiet, peaceful street and the vibrancy of North Street and Wapping Wharf on our doorstep. It has been the perfect place to start our family, with a close-knit, supportive local community as well as great access to nurseries and groups for babies and children as well as numerous green spaces such as Greville Smyth park, Leigh Woods and Ashton Court close by, and a short hop to the coast. Southville has a great community feel with major events such as the Balloon Fiesta, Upfest and the Winter Lantern parade as well as Open Gardens and Arts Trails in summer. Our home is full of light in the summer, with a sunny garden perfect for growing fruit and vegetables and watching the balloons drift overhead, as well as a warm and cosy space in winter, especially with the log fire roaring. We will miss the great array of shops, cafes and bars on vibrant North Street and Cargo at Wapping Wharf, where there is something for everyone, which we have enjoyed as a couple, and as a family. It has been a really special place to live and while we will be sad to leave, hope that the next owners will enjoy life in this house and community as much as we have.

Located in one of Bristol’s most sought- after locations, Ashton Gate Road is a delightful street with a vast array of open green spaces nearby including Ashton Court Estate and Greville Smyth Park and a short walk to the Harbour. Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
