There is a wider range of facilities at Falmouth, with an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and bars. The county city of Truro lies around 13 miles to the north. There is a branch railway line at Falmouth and a main line station at Truro. Scheduled flights operate from Newquay Airport to London and several other cities in the UK and Europe.
