The Lodge

A fantastic design from Willerby, the Forest Grove, with its two tone CanExel Cladding exterior is striking and certainly catches the eye. If you're looking for a preowned lodge with something a little bit different, this could be the one for you!

The entrance hallway incorporates the utility room, and is a hugely popular feature for dog owners, walking enthusiasts and families, offering the perfect space to dry muddy paws, remove shoes and boots, hang up coats etc. The washing machine is neatly integrated into the cabinet run.

The dining area is highlighted in shades of pink, purple and grey, with purple velour dining chairs and a swish rose gold pendant lamp over the dining table. There is a window seat here also, another spot to while away an hour or so.

The kitchen is sleek and bright, with all you could need, including integrated dishwasher, microwave, 70/30 fridge freezer and feature extractor fan. The storage is plentiful and the breakfast bar with 2 stools is a fab touch.

The lounge is comfortable and quirky, with a cuddle chair, sofa and contrasting armchair, all situated around the flame effect fire with surround backlighting. There is a patio door that opens onto your decking and offers light and space.

Leading from the lounge is one of its more unusual features is the ‘snug’ – a small room secluded away from the main living area; a retreat for reading, listening to music, or doing some work, with a large window and a Velux, it's the perfect place to soak up the view and relax. It also boasts a dresser, giving you cupboards and a multitude of shelves.

The main bathroom features a full size bath, with basin and W.C.

The master bedroom is beautifully furnished, with a king size bed, large dressing table and matching stool. From here you make your way into the impressive, adjoining dressing room, with both full-height and jacket-length hanging space, plus drawers – and there’s even a dedicated space for an ironing board! Then through to the lovely ensuite, with a good size shower, basin and W.C.

The second bedroom has two full size 3' single beds, and is entered via its own dressing room with dressing table and great wardrobe space.

All in all a fantastic addition to the Willerby range, for those of you who like the more separated feel of each room, but still with open plan in mind.

We also have laundry facilities and our on-site shop has everything you will need for your stay at Crofthead.

We are situated just a short drive from the centre of Ayr which hosts a variety of amenities right on our door steep with numerous bars, restaurants, supermarkets and of course the famous Ayr Beach.
