The current owners purchased this lodge when it was first built and have cared for and maintained it exceptionally well throughout their tenure with all windows being replaced with UPVC double glazing in recent years. This is one of only a handful of detached turret lodges on Isis & Windrush Lakes which brings with it an increased sense of privacy versus the more plentiful terraced versions.

The lodge is surrounded by manicured communal grounds and has a sun terrace wrapping around 270 degrees of the property making it a perfect spot for sun chasing. There are two allocated parking spaces to the front with a paved path leading to the decking and covered entrance porch.

Step through the front door and you are welcomed to a bright entrance porch with a downstairs WC, stairs leading to the first floor and a door through to the reception room. Pass through here and you will find a beautifully bright space with three sets of French doors opening onto the sun terrace. There is ample space for a three piece suite, dining table and TV unit. An archway brings you through to the fully fitted kitchen with an integrated dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and gas central heating boiler.

Head up to the first floor landing there are two bedrooms and a family bathroom. Bedroom two has a fitted wardrobe and space for either two single beds or a kingsize with a view across to the lakes beyond the lodges opposite. Bedroom three is a very comfortable single with a fitted wardrobe and space for a single bed or perhaps bunk beds. Carry on up to the second floor there is a large double width store cupboard on the landing before you reach the full floor master bedroom with en suite bathroom.

Outside, the sun terrace wraps around the lodge and is enclosed on all sides which makes it safe for young ones or four legged friends to roam about. There is a very handy store cupboard for BBQs, furniture or sports equipment.

Facilities at the resort are plentiful including three tennis courts (one floodlit), two fishing lakes, children's play areas

Within walking distance, there are three pubs in the village of South Cerney along with an Indian restaurant, fish & chip shop, Co-Op, Onestop, post office & deli, pharmacy, hairdresser and a doctor's surgery. Across the other side of the Spine Road is the Devere Hotel & Spa, The Old Boathouse pub, 720 Pizzeria, Gateway Cafe and a lakeside bar.

Travel connections to London are a breeze with direct trains to Paddington from Kemble (78 mins) 4 miles away or Swindon (58 mins) 12.5 miles away. The A419 gives access to the M4 Jct 15 (16 miles) with easy access to the M5 whilst Cirencester is only 4 miles and Cheltenham 20 miles away.

Lodges on Windrush & Isis Lakes are designated as holiday homes and are to be used as secondary homes only. Occupancy is permitted 12 months of the year.

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

      Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
      Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
      Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on October 25, 2022

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
