Property description & features

Well positioned in the sought after village of Brentor, surrounded by breath-taking countryside views is this characterful three bedroom semi-detached property.
With original parts of the house dating back to the 17th century, the property has withheld its character and quirks in abundance. With an extension to the side being more recently done to improve living space greatly but also allowing the outlook and access to the garden and neighbouring views to be caught perfectly.
Entering to the ground floor you are greeted in to the entrance hall, with all further accommodation spanning from here. The kitchen is well sized with a charming and original fire place alongside exposed stonework and beams throughout. There is also a utility space and cloakroom off the entrance hall for further use and storage. The extension lays home to the living room offering vast space for a dining area and seating along side access to the front court yard and rear garden. Built in 2011 this is the more modern wing of the home but has been finished and designed so well to feel as if it has always been part of the property, a credit to the current owners.
The first floor sits to offer the three bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom sits to face the front and offers a wealth of character alongside generous space for furniture and storage too. Bedroom two currently sits as a well sized single bedroom but could lay home to a double bed too. Bedroom three is a single bedroom with further dressing area to sit as a good size, configured to make the most of the space on offer. The bathroom offers a walk in shower, free standing bath, low level flush WC, wash hand basin.

Externally the rear garden is a breath taking space, private and enclosed and catching a picturesque outlook over the countryside as well as offering itself as a generous lawned space and a characterful ancient well.
There is ample parking, a detached garage and annex or further development potential.

There is a farm near Brentor, which is named Brinsabach, from 'Bryn' and 'bach', meaning 'small hill' (named after the Tor).Tavistock is an ancient stannary and market town located on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park. The town offers a wide range of local and national shops whilst also boasting the renowned pannier market, riverside park, leisure centre and theatre. The area is excellent for visitors both to see the town itself and for exploring the surrounding countryside, the wild Dartmoor scenery and the many neighbouring pretty villages and a variety of National Trust properties. There are exceptional educational facilities in both the state and private sector. The town itself has fantastic sporting facilities including, tennis courts, a bowls club, athletics track and various football pitches.
