"We knew from the minute we walked through the original 1930's front door - complete with stained glass - that this was our future home and the perfect place for our young family.
That was back in the summer of 2017, since then we have put a lot of love into creating our home we are lucky to have today.
That door is one of the few things we haven’t updated over the years and we have felt privileged to raise our two children in a warm, happy (and often noisy) house. The South-Westerly facing garden means spring and autumn afternoons often feel like summer on the decking. The cabin was always intended to be an office, but fortunately it doubles up as a shady spot on hotter days. Adding to that, the green space behind means you could almost be fooled into thinking you were somewhere other than London - until you spy Canary Wharf on the horizon - and it also means the garden is not overlooked.
The location is great for everything Hither Green, Blackheath and Greenwich have to offer, with each either a walk, bus ride or short drive away respectively. Our neighbours are kind and understanding of family life, while the road’s WhatsApp group gives a strong sense of community. We hope that whoever buys it makes as many happy memories as we have."
