* Guide price £575,000 - £600,000* Jukes Estate Agents Harlow are delighted and proud to bring to market this immaculate 5 bedroom detached house in highly sought after 'Newhall'.
The large new residential community of Newhall, Harlow is an exciting place to live and residents are invited to play an active part in their neighbourhood.
Newhall is ground breaking in the UK for its combination of well designed, award winning contemporary housing with a pleasant, green environment.

The development plan has adopted the principles of the late Sir Frederick Gibberd, the distinguished architect who planned the new town of Harlow after the Second World War. Gibberd divided the town into 'Neighbourhoods' that would become thriving and self-sustaining communities. Newhall can be considered the most modern and innovative of these Neighbourhoods.

The area used to be 250 acres (101ha) of farmland and woodland, which made up New Hall Farm, and the farm's owners are still the current landowners. Their visionary aim is firstly to achieve the highest standards of planning, design and construction.

The second aim is to offer a high quality of life and wellbeing with a sense of community and space, a proximity to nature and good amenities for children and families.

Around 2,200 new homes are being created and up to 40% of the land is being preserved as unspoilt open space for leisure, pleasure and amenity. A wide variety of housing types combine with parking spaces and community facilities.
Newhall has recently benefitted from the new '7A' junction on the M11 which is now just a 3 min drive away.
Newhall is a part of Harlow.

The Playhouse Theatre hosts an array of exciting performances, from drama to comedy, ensuring there's always something for everyone to enjoy.

Nature enthusiasts will be captivated by Harlow's abundance of green spaces and nature reserves. The expansive Harlow Town Park is a true gem, featuring beautiful lakes, tree-lined pathways, and well-maintained gardens. It's the perfect spot for picnics, leisurely walks, or simply unwinding amidst nature's tranquility. In addition, nearby Epping Forest offers endless opportunities for outdoor adventures, including hiking, cycling, and horse riding.

Harlow is a haven for families, with numerous schools, nurseries, and colleges providing excellent educational opportunities. The town is home to well-regarded primary and secondary schools, ensuring children receive a high standard of education close to home.

Transport links in Harlow are exceptional, making it an ideal location for commuters. The town is conveniently situated near the M11 motorway, providing easy access to London and Cambridge. Harlow Town Railway Station offers regular train services to London Liverpool Street, with journey times of approximately 30 minutes, making it a popular choice for professionals working in the capital.

Healthcare facilities are readily available in Harlow, with several medical centers, clinics, and a hospital serving the local community. Residents can access top-quality healthcare without having to travel far.

In summary, Harlow presents an outstanding opportunity for individuals and families seeking a thriving town with a range of amenities, beautiful green spaces, and excellent transport links. Don't miss the chance to call Newhall, Harlow your home!
The property itself is a superb 5 bedroom detached family home. Spread over 3 floors, this beautiful property has been the family home for the current owner for the last 16 years, and whilst they have loved every minute of their time here and are still very much in love with it, it is time for them to move to pastures new for the next chapter of their lives.
Upon entering the property through the front door, you have a nice hallway that is both simple and lovely.
It allows access to the downstairs cloakroom, the open plan lounge / kitchen / diner and of course the stairs.
There is a good size 'under the stairs' storage cupboard.
The downstairs cloakroom is a good size and like the rest of this impressive property is decorated to a high standard. It consists of a WC and hand basin. It has a tiled floor and a nice bespoke bathroom cabinet with mirrored doors.
The hub of this large family home is the open plan lounge / kitchen /diner. These open plan large family spaces have become extremely popular over the last 3 years and it is easy to see why. It allows the entire family to be involved with everything that is going on. Cooking, watching TV, reading, chatting or just relaxing. No one is excluded! Lovely!!
It stuck me when exploring this property that the architect got it spot on with the allocation of this space. The proportions of lounge, kitchen, and dining area works splendidly.
The fully fitted kitchen is spacious in its own right and of course the 'open plan' design gives it that optical illusion of being even larger. It has an integral electric double oven, a gas hob (fully vented), a dishwasher etc.
There are plenty of cupboards and drawers and lots of worktop space. It really is a very nice kitchen area.
The current owners have a 6 seater dining table and chairs in the dining area and it fits beautifully into the open plan space. The lounge area is large and current houses two large sofas and there is still lots of space left which again highlights the large size of this family space. There is a door that opens to the covered double carport as well as another side gate that leads to the garden.
There are double doors that open into the gorgeous rear garden.
The kitchen area has a nice tiled floor, while the dining and lounge area has high grade laminate flooring.
Before we go upstairs I want to spend some time in the garden.
One problem with new or newish property is that they tend to have a garden the size of a postage stamp! This is not the case with this property. It has not only a good size garden but a beautiful established garden. Gardens, just like property interiors, are very much subjective. Having said that, it is difficult to see why anyone would not love this green space just as it is. The current owners have utilised the far end shady corner to house their chickens but that space could be used for many things. They also have a small but lovely raised pond which apart from relaxing watching the fish 'flop' around in the warmer months, the sound of running water is extremely therapeutic if you haven't had the pleasure of experiencing it before! There are established trees, shrubs, bushes, and flower beds as well as a nice lawn with a stepping stone path. There is a garden shed and a lovely patio area laid with gravel. It really is a delightful garden and the current owners should be very proud of what they have done!
The bedrooms and family bathroom are spread over two floors.
On floor 1 we have the family bathroom and 4 good size double bedrooms.
The first floor landing is large enough for occasional furniture.
The bathroom has the usual bathtub and shower, as well as the mandatory WC and washbasin. It has a nice tiled floor and an integral vanity unit with handy storage.
The 4 double bedrooms all benefit from good size windows
Bedroom 2 which is currently being used as a large home office, runs the entire length of the property with large windows at both ends overlooking the garden and the front of the property. It also has fitted carpet.
Bedroom 3 and bedroom 4 are both large doubles and being a detached property has double aspect windows which are always an added bonus. Both rooms have fitted carpet.
Bedroom 5 is the smallest bedroom but still has ample room for a double bed and bedroom furniture. Once again it has fitted carpet.
On the second floor we find the master bedroom. This is a huge bedroom which is slightly 'L' shaped. The small 'L' has been cleverly used as a dressing area. The bedroom is home to a super size king bed and such is the size of this room, it doesn't look out of place! There are large fitted wardrobes and the room has three windows and therefore oodles of natural light!
As you would expect, it has an en suite which is a good size and consists of shower, WC and washbasin. The master bedroom has high grade laminate flooring and the en suite is tastefully tiled.
As mentioned earlier, there is a covered integral double carport which can be accessed via the front of the property, the lounge or the garden.
In conclusion, what do we have?
We have a large 5 bedroom detached family home in the highly desirable Newhall area of Harlow.
The property was purchased 16 years ago when the current owners children were all of schooling age. They chose Newhall as an area because of the schools and various club activities such as swimming, dance, etc. They chose this property because it was then and still now a fabulously designed family home with lots of space! Such is the popularity of this area that while the owners are relocating to a smaller rural location, their now grown children are all remaining in the area simply because they all love living here!
Please note there is a £5,000 +vat reservation fee payable to secure this property and to take it off the market. This is payable in addition to the purchase price, as our vendors have opted for our sell-for-free option and this should be considered when making an offer.

Places of interest

We have offices throughout Hertfordshire & Essex, and as we are both Herts & Essex men, and have both been “round the block” a few times, we have a vast knowledge of not just the Herts & Essex property market, but the actual towns, villages, and hamlets in which we work. This we believe is vital! We got together a few years ago & formed Town & Country Herts & Essex, and we opened our first shop/office in Harlow, which today is our main HQ. We decided from day one that this had to be an ESTATE AGENCY WITH A DIFFERENCE. We listened to what people had to say about their bad experiences with other companies, and put together a structure that has proved extremely successful. What you now have is a truly local Estate Agency that is working not only for the people of Herts & Essex, but for the local communities as well. JUKES ESTATE AGENTS SPONSOR SEVERAL SCHOOLS, JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUBS, AND LOCAL CHARITIES THROUGHOUT BOTH COUNTIES! Our ethos is to never use the “dubious and/or dated” methods used by many of our contemporaries. Therefore, you will get: Accurate valuations, superb marketing, and a customer service model that we are sure is second to none! WE ONLY TAKE ON A LIMITED AMOUNT OF PROPERTY so that we can guarantee we can give you the service you and your home deserves! Therefore, when you use Jukes Estate Agents, you will deal with one of the owners. Someone who genuinely cares about every client. Someone who will be with you every step of the way from Valuation to Completion of Sale!
