There are many good opportunities for sport and recreation in the area with plenty of sports facilities in and around Blandford and great opportunities for water sports in Poole Harbour and Studland Bay. Dorset’s renowned Jurassic coastline, the New Forest and Cranborne Chase are all within easy driving distance. Communication links around Blandford are excellent. The commute to Poole, Bournemouth and Ferndown is very straight forward and easy access onto the A31 provides a quick link to the M27 for Southampton and Portsmouth, and the M3 up to London.
