All Saints Church (where a church has been from the 13th century) stands at the end of Woodside. Recent archaeological digs show signs of Bronze Age settlements (2000-1000 BC).

The village of Longstanton itself offers facilities such as Post Office, general store, doctors surgery, hairdressers, vets and a pub, whilst only one and half miles away stands the 24 hour Tesco Megastore with adjacent shops which include Travel Agents, Fish and Chip Shop, Newsagents, Clothes Shop and phone shop.

CAMBRIDGE AND SURROUNDING AREA
Cambridge needs no introduction, offering excellent modern shopping facilities, as well as the beautiful buildings of the Colleges all in the historical city of Cambridge. Cambridge University is one of the oldest and biggest universities in the world. It has a worldwide reputation for academic achievements and brilliance. Over the years more than 60 of its scientists have won Nobel Prizes for their work. Some of history's greatest literary figures such as Wordsworth, Milton and Coleridge have been Cambridge students. There are over 30 colleges in the city, some over 700 years old. Trinity, Kings, Corpus Christi, Queens and Magdalene being amongst the most famous.
Cambridge is also home to the renowned Addenbrooke's Hospital and Research Centre.

If you love poring over the past, Cambridge has some of the finest museums in the country. You may enjoy shopping in the narrow streets, visit the market (open six days a week) or the
modern Grafton Shopping Centre with all its big name stores. The Farmers Market at Market Square is open every Sunday, where you can buy fresh local produce direct from the producers. Nearby are the towns of Newmarket, the international centre of horse racing, Ely with its huge Cathedral, St Neots with its marina and boating facilities, the pretty little St Ives, not to mention Huntingdon and Peterborough. Cambridge enjoys a regular and direct rail link to London.

    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
