Property description & features

"My daughter and I have loved living on Stretford Road. The garden is a suntrap and we've enjoyed lots of BBQs and glasses of wine in the evening with family and friends. The neighbourhood is wonderful. You can see St Georges Park from the front door and it's perfect for dog walking or a picnic with the kids. Church Road is a short walk with everything you need - there are some super restaurants and of course Loaf.

Whitehall Primary School is a short distance away and Lawrence Hill and Stapleton Road train stations take you straight into Clifton Downs and Temple Meads. Not forgetting you're right near the cycle path which takes you into Bristol or out into the countryside near Bath."

Stretford Road is situated in St George, in the East of the City. One of the city's most popular parks, St George's park is a wonderful place including a cafe, a skate park, and a lake. Across the park is Church Road with The Bristol Loaf bakery, The Red Church pub and Poco Deli, to name just a few favourites a stone's throw away. A little bit further is the amazing view at Trooper's Hill and the River Avon for walks, or Old Market for more shops and cafes. Head out in the other direction across Whitehall Road and you're at the cycle path in just a few minutes. It's great for traffic-free walks or bike rides to the harbour. Across the cycle path is Easton with even more pubs, cafes, and the brilliant St Mark's Road with the delicious Thali restaurant, and Sweetmart for groceries and any spice you can think of. Beyond that is the big green space of Eastville Park and Snuff mills for a tree-lined river walk. There are several well-regarded schools in the area, meaning this is a popular area with families. This includes Whitehall Primary School within just a 5 minute walk. For commuters, the area is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.

A stylish 3 bedroom, 3 storey Victorian mid-terrace quietly situated on Stretford Road with views towards St George's Park. This charming home welcomes you via its entrance hallway leading to the stylish lounge with bay window, feature fireplace, ceiling rose and grey laminate flooring. To the rear is the kitchen/diner fitted with a contemporary kitchen including grey cupboards and oak worktops. The dining space is full of natural light flooding in from the patio doors to the garden.

Outside, the garden offers both low maintenance patio and a colour from the many growing plants and trees.

The first floor accommodates two spacious double bedrooms and a partially tiled 3 piece suite with shower over bath and heated towel rail. The second floor holds a bedroom within the eaves with good sized floor area suitable for both a study and a bed.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on July 13, 2023

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on July 13, 2023

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on September 8, 2020 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
