Uplands Cottage provides characterful accommodation over two floors with a spacious reception/dining hall leading through to a study which could equally be arranged as a family room. The dual aspect sitting room features exposed beams and two fireplaces, one with an open fire and one with a woodburner. The kitchen/breakfast room is of a good size and is fully equipped with a comprehensive range of country style units alongside integrated appliances. There is plenty of room for a large breakfast table, ideal for family life. Just off the kitchen is a boot room leading out to the garden. Throughout the house there is ample storage on both floors.

On the first floor the bedrooms are characterful, benefiting from high ceilings. The principal bedroom, with an en suite shower room, enjoys lovely views over the garden and beyond. There are four further double bedrooms served by a spacious family bathroom.

The delightful gardens of Uplands Cottage wrap around the property with high hedging, mature trees and fencing giving privacy. To the rear are wonderful views over open fields while a terrace adjoins the house providing a picturesque setting for outside dining and entertaining. There is an area of lawn with flower and vegetable beds, while a storage shed nestles in the corner. To the front of the house, clad with wisteria, is a large expanse of lawn and a further terrace. Highlights include an old water well and a large ornamental pond, stocked with a range of small and large fish. To the side is a driveway providing ample parking and a double garage. From the front garden, via a separate gate across the road, is access to woodlands and fields which are part of a conservation area, with various walks including to Hughenden Manor.
