Why the owner loves the property:
Both the bedrooms easily fit a king size bed, with plenty of room for other furnishings. The lounge and kitchen allow for entertaining guests and we have had so many happy family gatherings here. The light streams in the back windows of the house in the mornings and the back of the house in the evenings. I love being woken up by the sunrise in the back bedroom and painting in the front bedroom lit by the glow of the evening sun. The back garden is sunny, but sheltered. It is perfect for growing beautiful flowers and also sitting out and enjoying the sunshine. We get superfast broadband, with a choice of networks, which makes working from home, streaming films and surfing the web easy and keeps the prices competitive. The street being a cul-de-sac means it is quiet, with no through traffic at all. In fact, I love that you can’t really hear any road noise most of the time. Our neighbours are lovely, there is a sense of community in the street. People are always happy to look after others deliveries, help to keep the street clean and tidy and are just generally friendly. We are in walking distance of a doctors surgery, pharmacy, schools, shops and a hairdressers. There is also a great bus route that runs from the top of the road that is perfect for me, as I don’t drive, and enables me to get anywhere I need. We are surrounded by a great network of foot and cycle paths that lead to Sevefields, Mouldon Hill, Shaw Forest Park and other beautiful and tranquil spots. I love going for walks and cycles from our house and feeling totally lost in nature, whilst still being so close to home. Just last night I went on a walk across footpaths fluttering with butterflies and through a meadow hopping with wild bunnies.

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on January 11, 2022
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on January 11, 2022
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on March 11, 2020 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
