"We love our house and will be sad to leave as we relocate 'up north'.

The kitchen is our favourite room which we put a lot of effort into designing. There are lovely patchwork tiles, lots of workspace and storage, fully integrated appliances, five ring hob, double tower oven and easy access to garden.

We spend a lot of time in the garden, with large patio, separate BBQ patio, lawn and easy to maintain beds. Our lavender bed smells and looks lovely in the summer. Another great feature being end of terrace is that there are garden gates onto the road, so no need to drag gardening equipment or bikes etc. through the house.

Since moving in seven years ago we have maintained the house carefully. We put in: the new kitchen; new bathroom with lovely mosaic and brickwork tiles; new flooring throughout; new boiler and radiators; a shoe and coat cupboard; and painted wooden stairs. The other fantastic bonus of our house is the huge cellar which spans the whole footprint of the house - awesome for storage.

There is a great sense of community in the area. Our neighbours are lovely and always stop to chat, and Ermine Road is closed once a month over spring and summer for the children to play. We are less than five minutes walk from Hilly Fields, a lovely park with fantastic cafe, tennis courts and a play area; there is also a park run weekly.

Ladywell Park, Brockley, and Brockley food market are also short walks away. Finally transport links here are superb - Lewisham DLR, Lewisham mainline, St John's mainline, Ladywell mainline, and the overground in Brockley mean there are loads of quick and easy options for getting into town. The range of transport options was one reasons we originally moved here!"
