I chose Haysleigh Gardens because, unlike many new flats I viewed, it had character and privacy and felt like a home. I love the maisonette's 1930's features and that it is set back from the road by the front garden. It is particularly pretty this time of year when the roses & jasmine in the back garden come into bloom. The location is great! Three beautiful parks on your doorstep (loads of parkrun options), excellent transport links and arts and culture in Crystal Palace, South Norwood & Penge - fab café culture! My neighbours are also lovely! Whether you're a young professional, a small family, or something in between - people from all walks of life live in the maisonettes here - it's a friendly community. I will miss it! But opportunity calls.
