Beautifully-delivered and architecturally-treated extended Dulwich terrace. Chain free.

The handsome bay-fronted property has been the lucky subject of a recent and thorough renovation. Over three floors, you have four bedrooms, both bath and shower rooms, a downstairs w.c. and a well-stocked west-facing ‘city’ garden.

Getting to town/around? Walk to East Dulwich Station in 12 minutes, or Peckham Rye Station in 20 (both zone 2). Or jump on a bus (10 minute journey) for Peckham Rye or Denmark Hill stations. Parking is unrestricted, on-street. Lordship Lane is a pleasant five minute stroll.

A sunny low-maintenance and walled front garden sets the house back from the street, with pretty planting.

Once in, first find a formal front reception with wooden floors (well-insulated, so draft free) and an opened-up fireplace. Cool pocket doors mean you can close off or open the space up seamlessly - depending on your occasion.

Down a couple of steps and you’ve got your delightful dining area (another opened-up fireplace here), which runs through to a large kitchen with movable island/breakfast bar on wheels (genius!), an exposed-beam feature ceiling, and full glazing over the former side-return area. The fitted kitchen is a modern plywood one, complete with integrated appliances. Large sliding doors deliver you to the gorgeous garden.

Your BBQ-friendly garden faces west, so you’re in for plenty of afternoon sun, and it feels very private as you're surrounded by trees. Modern clay garden pavers look great here, and you have large planted beds too.

A downstairs w.c. (accessed from the hall), under stairs storage, and a laundry cupboard complete the hallway tour.

It's up to the half-landing for the property’s dishy bathroom - a full one, with big free-standing bath, an independent walk-in shower, and modern matt black bathroom hardware.

From the main landing, your first bedroom is set to your left. It’s currently enjoyed as a home office, but is a good size double with a feature fireplace. Then your traditional and twin-sashed master bedroom rests across the front of the house. More stripped floors and a feature fireplace here.

Go up to the second floor for your third bedroom, with sliding window to London views. This room’s currently enjoyed as a generous walk-in wardrobe. It would work as an office or bedroom.

And finally, you'll land upon the glorious master suite: a big double bedroom with windowed en suite shower room (again, high-end fittings impress). The exposed-brick fireplace, ceiling detail (echoing the same treatment in the kitchen), a Juliet balcony (providing lovely London views) and easily-accessible eaves storage tick even more boxes.

A great house in a great spot. The Great Exhibition is your most local pub on Crystal Palace Road. We really rate their roasts. Lordship Lane is a short wander for all manner of cafes, pubs, restaurants and standard to luxury grocery shopping as well (we love William Rose butchery, Mons cheesemonger and Moxon’s fishmongers to name a few). You also have Dulwich Picturehouse. And don't miss North Cross Road's super Saturday market.

For more options, head for Rye Lane/central Peckham and Bellenden Road, or leafy Dulwich Village in the other direction.

For green space, walk just 10 minutes to either Dulwich Park or Peckham Rye Park and Common’s 113 acres. You’re also close to Dulwich and Sydenham Golf Course (the golf club that’s closest to central London) where you can play during the week as a non-member. And East Dulwich’s leisure centre is a 10 minute walk.

Kids or thinking of? You are close to both Heber and Goodrich primaries (walk four and six minutes respectively). The Dulwich privates are also easily reached.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on December 20, 2021

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area
