THE PROPERTY:
Positioned towards the end of a cul-de-sac, this well-built chalet home has two impressively proportioned double bedrooms on the upper floor separated by a central staircase.
The living room retains an open fireplace to one side of the hall with bathroom to the opposite side.
To the rear of the property is the kitchen with a deep understairs storage cupboard. Beyond this is a separate room (currently used as a utility area) that could be connected to the kitchen to create a wonderful kitchen dining room with direct access to the garden. There is also an outer hall that connects the front of the property to the garden through the utility area.
There are gardens to front and rear. The front garden may be suited to the creation of an area of off street parking (subject to consents).
The property has double glazing and gas central heating, but would benefit from full modernisation and has been priced to reflect this.

SITUATION:
Minster Lovell is a village and civil parish situated on the River Windrush in Oxfordshire, approximately 2 ½ miles west of Witney. Reputedly the region’s most haunted village, Minster Lovell is perhaps best known for the ruins of its 15th century hall, and is divided into three distinct parts: Old Minster, Little Minster and New Minster.
Old Minster includes the parish church, the Old Swan Inn public house and Minster Mill Hotel and picturesque ruins of Minster Lovell Hall. Minster Lovell Hall was built in the 1430s and after several changes of hands the hall was abandoned and eventually demolished in the 18th century, leaving the extensive remains that stand today. The ruins of this 15th century Oxfordshire manor house are situated in a beautiful rural setting beside the River Windrush and include a fine hall and tower.
New Minster benefits from the White Hart public house and a small selection of local shops including Post Office, Convenience Store and a local Butchers. Further amenities including an extensive selection of high street shops and restaurants are available in nearby Witney.

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on July 1, 2022
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on July 1, 2022
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on July 23, 2023 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
