We bought this flat six years ago when it was newly built. It appealed because we could not find a one bed new build, of this size, anywhere in the area! It was and remains a perfect base for work and connecting with friends across London, with amazing transport links and many shops, parks, and pubs close by.
It was the ideal place for us a young couple buying our first home, getting married and eventually setting up a family too. The apartment is so big that we even managed to stay here comfortably with our son for almost two years!
The whole building is very friendly, with a communal Facebook group where neighbours chat, take packages for each other and offer advice. As it's set within a close, there's very little noise with mainly families and professionals living in Mulberry House and the surrounding homes.
The balcony is a real bonus, it's a bit of sun trap and is perfect for breakfast/brunch in the summer. The views of the whole city skyline are special too, especially at New Years where you can see the whole of London light up in front of you!
