The Location - Fowey is regarded as one of the most attractive waterside communities in the county. Particularly well known as a popular sailing centre, the town has two thriving sailing clubs, a famous annual Regatta and excellent facilities for the keen yachtsman. For a small town Fowey provides a good range of shops and businesses catering for most day to day needs. The immediate area is surrounded by many miles of delightful coast and countryside much of which is in the ownership of the National Trust. Award winning restaurants, small boutique hotels, excellent public houses etc, have helped to establish Fowey as a popular, high quality, destination.
There are several excellent golf courses within easy reach, many world class gardens are to be found in the immediate area and the fascinating Eden Project with its futuristic biomes is just 5 miles to the north west.
There are good road links to the motorway system via the A38/A30. Railway links to London, Paddington, can be made locally at Par, and St. Austell and there are flights to London and other destinations from Newquay.
The Property - Located on sought after Daglands Road and benefitting from fabulous views over the town, to the harbour and countryside beyond, this lovely cottage has been updated by the current owners to provide a charming and beautifully presented property. The garden has been creatively designed to produce a pretty and relaxing space to enjoy the views. Currently a very successful holiday let, the property would lend itself as a gorgeous main home.
The accommodation is arranged over two floors and has been cleverly designed to create a spacious area with open plan kitchen, dining and living room and a downstairs cloakroom. The kitchen is well appointed with integrated dishwasher, washing machine and fridge and a good number of cupboards for storage. There is attractive wooden flooring and 2 windows to the front elevation. A dining area is located to the one side and the room opens to the lovely sitting room, with window overlooking the garden. There is a wood burner for those chillier winter evening if required.
A sliding door opens to the paved patio area which is suitable for a sizeable table and chairs, thus creating a lovely space for al fresco living.
Stairs from the living room area lead up to the first floor landing. A door opens to the principal double bedroom which benefits from super views over the garden, town and harbour beyond. There is a window and futher double doors with juliet balcony, making this a lovely light and airy room.
A further double bedroom is located to the front of the property with 2 windows and there is a well designed family bathroom with a sun tunnel, giving natural light to the room. There is a panelled bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin.
Outside - The property has a small garden area to the front of the cottage, enclosed by low walling and timber gate. Designed for easy maintenance, this area is gravelled and an ideal area to sit out and enjoy the evening sun. It is also large enough to be used as a storage area if necessary.
To the rear, the lovely garden is a delight, with large paved terrace and pathway meandering through to the outhouse/workshop located at the bottom. There is a small pond and the borders have been beautifully planted with flowering plants and shrubs. There is a further area located to the side of the outhouse, which is large enough to take a small table and chairs - an ideal spot to enjoy the harbour.
The outhouse is a substantial building (3.17m x 1.86m) and currently used for storage but has potential for further use if required (subject to necessary planning permissions).

Broadband availability and predicted speed
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
