The Property
Cranmore Cottage is a Grade II listed four bedroom cottage in a superb village location at the foot of the South Downs. The property is built of brick with clay tiled roof and has been extended in more recent years, with scope for the new owner to further improve and modernise. Inside, many period features remain such as original beams and inglenook fireplace. The large entrance hall gives way to a newly fitted downstairs wet room and integral garage and a staircase leads up to one attic bedroom. The kitchen has a range of cabinets and wood worktops and is in need of some updating. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining room with a door to the garden. The sitting room has pretty beams and a wonderful Inglenook fireplace with a woodburning stove as well as a door opening to the front garden and porch. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a single bedrooms with a family bathroom.

Outside, the property is approached over a gravel drive with parking for several cars. The front garden is East facing, making it the perfect spot for a morning coffee in peaceful surroundings. The main garden is to the rear of the property and is mainly laid to lawn, bordered by pretty, cottage style flowerbeds and backs on to neighbouring paddocks. The wonderful brick laid terrace runs the length of the property and has plenty of space for outdoor living in the warmer months, and, being West facing, catches the evening sun.

The Location
Cranmore Cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Heyshott, which is located at the foot of the South Downs and has a pub, church, village hall and farm shop.
