Property description & features

"When we bought the house, although it needed a lot of renovating, we just fell in love with the garden space, as well as the beautiful views over Bristol - you can even see Cabot Tower flashing in the evening! We had the house replastered from top to bottom, a new kitchen and bathroom, electrical consumer unit and boiler were all installed. It has been an amazing place to raise two children. We love the garden, it is full of birds which is lovely and we've spent many sunny evenings with the family having bbq's and enjoying the outdoor space, which is also very private. All the neighbours know each other and there is a street Facebook group so everyone helps each other out. We'll miss this place, we've spent lots of happy years here and made memories we'll treasure forever."

Shelley Close is a quiet cul-de-sac just to the East of St George's Park and within easy reach of Church Road. St George's Park is one of the city's most popular green spaces providing a kids play area, tennis courts, a cafe, a skate park, and a lake. St George has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, with this property near to the very popular Poco Deli, Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much loved Bristol Loaf and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. There are several well-regarded schools in the area, meaning this is a popular area with families. For commuters, it is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.

A bright three bedroom end of terrace on Shelley Close in St George with a garage and an incredible garden like no other on the street. The home is accessed via a pathway to the end of the terrace, where you're welcomed with a beautiful front garden backed off the street. The entrance greets you with a spacious hallway which leads to the lounge with a bay window. To the rear of the property is the extended kitchen/diner, surrounded by garden space, feeling completely private. The space is idyllic for families or simply those who love to entertain. Upstairs holds three bedrooms, two of which are spacious doubles. The master to the front offers incredible views to the front whilst the rear bedroom overlooks the beautiful greenery from the private garden. There is also a three piece suite with a shower over the bath.

Outside, the garden wraps to the side of the home offering heaps of sunlight throughout the day making it perfect for families. Benefitting from being the end of terrace, the garden feels entirely private. Whilst having lawned areas, the garden is full of a variety of growing trees, plants and flowers. There is a patio area from the kitchen double doors, perfect for a seating area during the summer. Finally, there is side access to reach the lane.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on June 6, 2023

Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on June 6, 2023

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on November 23, 2015 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
