Located close to the historic village of Wrotham and providing excellent communications links, The Ridge is an excellent example of an Edwardian country home set in a fantastic position on the ridgeline overlooking the valley below.

Approached along an access driveway that runs up to the house the property provides excellent parking together with a separate double garage with stand alone annex above it. The entrance hallway, including a perfect reading/library area, enjoys south facing views and is bathed in light. A snug/sitting room sits at the western end of the house whilst a more formal living room (with fireplace and large south facing windows) acts as a link between the hallway and the kitchen/dining room.

At the eastern end of the house a large, recently updated and extended, kitchen/living/dining room has fantastic south facing views over the lawn and valley beyond. A well sized larder, utility room and downstairs guest WC, together with access out to the garden are then found alongside a staircase leading to the first floor. At the rear of the house, and linking the kitchen with the hallway (together with another guest WC) runs a large rear corridor/office/store space which had a multitude of uses.

The main staircase (leading up from the hallway) takes you up the first floor landing which leads to six double bedrooms together with two well sized bathrooms and an additional shower room. The rear staircase then joins up at the easternmost room. A large loft storage space then runs above the first floor.

The house sits on the ridgeline overlooking the valley with a number of excellent dining and entertaining spots; from the lawn set in front of the house to the terrace on the eastern side which enjoys wonderful south facing views. A mature garden then sits around the house together with a number of acres of woodland set on the valley's side.

The Ridge is ideally located near to the historic village of Wrotham which was first recorded in 788 and was a significant stopping point on the Pilgrims Way. It is conveniently set for the nearby towns of Sevenoaks and has excellent transport links; with the local station at Borough Green providing trains into both London Victoria and London Bridge (and then on to Charing Cross) whilst the M20 provides an easy link between the channel ports to the east and a quick and easy route into London to the west. The M25 then links up for the airports at Gatwick and Heathrow together with access to the wider UK motorway network.

The area benefits from excellent local schools including numerous village primary schools and a smorgasbord of high achieving secondary schools (both private and Grammar) in the area including Tonbridge School, Sevenoaks School, The Judd School, Skinners, Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys, Tunbridge Wells Girl's Grammar School, Maidstone Grammar School and Maidstone Grammar School for Girls.
