Genuinely, Weeks Meadow is a home that we rarely see on the open market. Aided by the location the home is host to, alongside amazing accommodation divided over two levels, parking to the front for multiple vehicles, plus a rear enclosed garden that our current vendors have spent years developing into a picturesque retreat.
Upon entry beyond the front door, the nature of the home is clearly present. A naturally free flowing home, with a large entrance hall offering leading access into the two ground floor bedrooms, as well as the centrally located family walk-in shower room.
The large kitchen/dining room is located to the rear of the home, with views spanning over the beautiful mature gardens via the tall, symmetrical window panes either side of the wood burner. The kitchen/dining room is of an impressive dimension, boasting superb amounts of floor space, lending itself to an array of furnishings, and the opportunity to embrace the social essence that this home portrays. Integral access into the property’s double garage is conveniently available from the dining area, efficiently designed with the incorporation of a practical utility area, housing those much-needed household appliances.
On the upper level of the home, the layout comprises the living room, bedroom number four/study, master bedroom w/en-suite, plus a cloakroom on the landing area.
Personally, my favourite room in the home is the living room, this could be due to the incredible timber craftsmanship on display, the trio of large A-frames, plus the stunning harmony from start to finish. The living room takes huge benefits from the elevated location, overlooking the rear garden and local farmland, all while enjoying the wood burner central to the room.
Further across the landing, the fourth bedroom is located, perfect for guests or maybe a home office space. The master bedroom is positioned to the front of the home, boasting plentiful floorspace, with the added benefit of an en-suite bathroom and generously sized dressing room.
The exterior of the home is where Weeks Meadow reaches new heights, the main highlight being the rear garden that has been well loved throughout the 17 years of ownership. Mature flower beds meander their way away from the home creating a centralized lawn area. At the end of the garden our owners have created a vegetable garden adjacent to the patio area, this area embraces the Devonshire sunshine, perfect if you are interested in being self-sufficient in the fruit/veg department. There are also seating areas closer to the home, directly outside the rear door, as well as gated side access around the property, past the beautiful wisteria to the parking area.
Broadwoodkelly is a village and civil parish within the West Devon district of Devon. The village itself is situated roughly 2.5 miles from the popular village of Winkleigh & approximately 10 miles north of established market town Okehampton.
The local village church is known to date back to the 15th century, with two existing piscinae circa 700 years old! The village itself is very active, with the village hall being erected since 1876, previously noted as the former village school until 1945.
Winkleigh, amidst the rolling Devonshire countryside, offers of a good range of facilities including village stores, Post Office, butcher, primary school, pre-school, two public houses, veterinary surgery, doctors surgery and village church. There are a range of community activities for all ages based around the community centre, village hall and sports hall. The village also has good local transport services with daily buses to Exeter and Barnstaple and also a service to Okehampton.
The town of Okehampton is situated on the northern fringes of the Dartmoor National Park. The town has an excellent range of shops and services, three supermarkets including a Waitrose, hospital, leisure centre and popular community college, with sixth form. The recently reinstated addition of Okehampton Train Station is an admirable factor, offering hourly commutable services directly into Exeter Central & Exeter St. David’s, giving huge possibilities to all generations.

Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on March 31, 2015 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
