‘When we first saw Oakleigh, we were mesmerised by its position and far reaching views over the Mendip Hills, which we still appreciate on a daily basis.
‘Being on the edge of the village we only have a few neighbours, but they are all very friendly. There are two main farms nearby, so you’ll often get views from the back bedrooms of calves in the field. It’s common to spot a deer on the hill and there are buzzards, kites and ravens aplenty.’
‘I love – and will miss – everything about this home, especially enjoying the beautiful view out of the front bay window. I’ll also miss the essential laundry/boot room which makes easy work of dealing with a pair of muddy dogs post walk.’
‘This has always been a happy and bright home with lots of space for entertaining, whether small cosy get-togethers or bigger celebrations such as our daughter’s wedding.’
