Best described as a pied-à-terre or bijou bolthole, this is a great little place to work or play, entertain friends and family or just chill out. It's tucked away but connected - seconds away from a great tapas bar and gourmet restaurant, from the fabulous Hay Cinema, and some of the best art galleries and independent shops around. It's handy for the beautifully restored Hay Castle, for walks by the river Wye and to Hay Bluff...but you would hardly know it was there.It's a beautiful, serene space that is filled with light in the mornings. Barty (who we all miss so much) aka Zebra Design designed the kitchen area and bathroom with his trademark talent of using space so beautifully and ergonomically.It's an eclectic mix of old and new that's nevertheless low maintenance.I could go on, suffice it to say, it's a place I have loved being in very much and will miss hugely.
