This FINE DETACHED BUNGALOW is enviably set toward the head of a peaceful cul-de-sac on the fringe of Torquay, commanding WIDE OPEN VIEWS across Torquay to the sea from the front, and rolling Devon hills to the rear. The bungalow has recently undergone comprehensive renovation for our clients personal occupation, which has included a striking new garden room, tasteful kitchen, window replacements, and electrical upgrades.

Rocombe Close stands on the outskirts of Torquay yet conveniently placed for access to the 'village' amenities at St Marychurch where Torquay Golf Club can be found. The pretty Watcombe Cove lies at the base of the wooded hillside by crossing the nearby Teignmouth Road where the South Devon Coastal Footpaths can be joined toward Shaldon and Teignmouth to the north or Torquay and wider Torbay to the South.

EPC Rating: D

OWNERS INSIGHT

"We moved to Torquay for a lifestyle change, and Rocombe Close has given us exactly what we were seeking. The views are simply breathtaking and we still have to pinch ourselves sometimes when looking out across Torquay in front of us to the sea, or the beautiful hills behind toward Marldon and Dartmoor. When we took over the bungalow it had been a loved home in the same ownership since new in the early 1980s, but was in need of general modernisation. After putting a lot of love, sweat, and tears into the renovation, we have now taken the emotional decision to move closer to family and our baby grandchild as they are unable to move close to Devon. We only wish we could take the bungalow and our wonderful neighbours with us!
