Property description & features

"I've owned my fantastic apartment in Catherine's House since new and I have loved every minute of being there. The flat was perfect for me from the moment I viewed it back in 2018, its so light and airy! It's also well laid out and has a fantastic kitchen. I was working from home all throughout the COVID pandemic and it gave me a chance to really put my stamp on the flat and fit an office 'area' in!
In late 2020 my partner also moved in and we've lived their happily together ever since. The only reason to move is that I am sadly leaving Bristol.
I get on well with my neighbours and often go for drinks with my neighbour opposite, we like to visit the micro brewery around the corner and the bottle shop. There's a real sense of community in the flats, which is great."

Situated just off North Street, a well-known and vibrant road running from Southville and Bedminster, is this beautifully presented flat. This area is popular with a range of residents for its popular shops and amenities and abundance of recognisable culture, typified by annual events such as 'Upfest' and the nearby Harbourside Festival and Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. North Street is home to a number of popular bars and eateries, such as The Tobacco factory, the popular Souk Kitchen, The Spotted Cow as well as highly regarded cafes such as Sweven and The Nordic Cafe. Crossing the river from Southville, you are just minutes from all Bristol City Centre has to offer. For those who work in the city, the commute by foot or bike is short and painless, whilst the journey home after an evening in a city is very straightforward and advantageous on foot rather than negotiating city centre traffic. Over the river to the left in Wapping Wharf is the high-end development 'The General' with Michelin star restaurants: Casamia and Paco Tapas. Beyond these is Bristol's scenic Harbourside with its boat trips and water-facing bars and restaurants. For those who require frequent access out of the city, the property is also close to both Bedminster and Bristol Temple Meads train stations, a short walk to the Bristol Airport bus stop, as well as offering several routes by road to outstanding countryside and more rural attractions nearby.

Situated just off the ever-popular North Street is this tastefully designed one-bedroom apartment. Upon entry to the flat, you are met by an entrance that houses a utility cupboard, which is also ideal to store coats and shoes. To the left is the substantial open-plan kitchen-living room. In the kitchen, there is an integrated fridge-freezer, oven, dishwasher, plus a lot of cupboard space meaning you will not have an issue with storage. There is also plenty of room for a table & chairs, as well as a sitting area that is both ideal for relaxing and socialising. Only being converted from an office block less than four years ago, all this flat has a new, modern feel with no need for renovation or updating when moving in. The bedroom is well-proportioned and faces south-west, being flooded with light throughout the day.

Service charge is £2,080 per year
Ground rent is £150 per year

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on November 4, 2022

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on November 4, 2022

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on November 2, 2018 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
