Location;
The township of Holmisdale is situated within Glendale on the Duirinish Peninsula of Skye. Although still a very traditional crofting township, due to its fertile soil, the whole glen was removed from crofting tenure some years ago.
The village of Lephin offers a limited number of facilities including a post office/general store and a cafe, further facilities are available in Dunvegan approximately 7 miles away. Secondary education is provided in Portree, the principal town on the island, a bus service operates to transport secondary pupils to and from the high school.
Directions: Taking the B884 from Dunvegan, follow the winding, single track road into Glendale. Take the 1st turning on the left after the village hall. The land is located on the right hand side of the township road and has a for sale board on the boundary fence.
