Sellers' Insight

“We have lived at Number 6 for 30 years and have enjoyed many aspects of life at Morpeth Mansions and in this part of residential Westminster. Waking to early-morning sun as it emerges from behind the brick-built Roman Catholic Cathedral with its distinctive high tower a few hundred metres away is an experience not to be missed. The high ceilings and equally-high windows within this apartment provide superb levels of natural light in the three principal rooms, all facing east.

Morpeth Mansions – a classic late-Victorian development of mansion flats - was built in the 1890s to an exacting standard which has stood the test of time. The high levels of security within the building – thanks to the 24/7 concierge team – provide us with peace of mind when we are travelling and outstanding service and support when we are in residence.

Being convenient to so many supermarkets, local shops, restaurants and service companies makes life here very uncomplicated. The splendid public transport system hub at Victoria is so close and accessible we have never needed a car. It never ceases to amaze us that there is such a total contrast between the busy and useful Victoria Street with its multitude of shops and eating options, and the complete calm and quiet when you turn into Morpeth Terrace, which is only one block long, a one-way street and lined with beautiful trees and magnificent views of the Cathedral.

The pleasures of living in Morpeth Mansions can be summed up simply in three words – comfortable, convenient and tranquil.”
