This truly charming old farmhouse is believed to date back to the early 17th Century but has a date stone of 1734 indicating that works were carried out later in that period. The front façade is enchanting being colour washed rendered elevations, enhanced with stone mullion windows and a magnificent established wisteria, all under a roof of Bridgwater tiles. Over the years the house has been well maintained, is beautifully decorated and exhibits many of the period features expected in a house of its age.

A panelled and partly glazed front door leads into the central hall with flagstone floors and has panelled doors leading to the reception rooms. The drawing room has a fine inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, an oak chamfered Bressumer beam with panelling over and to the sides and corniced beams join the picture rail. A lovely window with panelled shutters and window seat enjoy an outlook over the gardens. A panelled door leads into the garden room, which has a mature vine, a flagstone floor and offers excellent summer entertaining space. The beamed dining room lies on the other side of the hall and has a lovely window overlooking the gardens. A staircase leads out of the dining room and up to the first floor and a further door leads down into the kitchen, which is well fitted with wall and floor mounted cupboards and an oil fired two oven AGA. An inner hall has a door to the cloakroom, which has a walk-in wet room style shower. Another door leads down to the cellar, which is currently used for wine and other storage. The sitting room provides an ideal snug, has a handsome fireplace, a bank of floor cupboards and bookcases and a French door leading out into the side garden. A fine turning staircase with a handrail and balustrades lead up to the first floor and on the right into the guest bedroom with a fireplace, wash hand basin and a window with seat. The principal bedroom has lovely southerly outlooks, has a window with window seat, and a range of built in cupboards providing good hanging space. The inner hall leads to a further bedroom, at present used as a study, which has a good range of built in cupboards. Another large bedroom is found from the inner landing and leads through again to the rear landing where there is a further bedroom found at the rear of the house with built in cupboards, next to a shower room with shower, wash hand basin, wc and cupboards as well as the principal family bathroom, which is particularly spacious, is well fitted with two wash basins set into a vanity unit with cupboards below, a bidet, a wc and a panelled bath. There is also an airing cupboard with hot water cylinder. A door from the landing leads up a staircase and into an easily accessible attic area, which provides excellent storage and has the potential for other use.
