The Location - Fowey is regarded as one of the most attractive waterside communities in the county. Particularly well known as a popular sailing centre, the town has two thriving sailing clubs, a famous annual Regatta and excellent facilities for the keen yachtsman. For a small town Fowey provides a good range of shops and businesses catering for most day to day needs. The immediate area is surrounded by many miles of delightful coast and countryside much of which is in the ownership of the National Trust. Award winning restaurants, small boutique hotels, excellent public houses etc, have helped to establish Fowey as a popular, high quality, destination.
There are several excellent golf courses within easy reach, many world class gardens are to be found in the immediate area and the fascinating Eden Project with its futuristic biomes is just 5 miles to the north west.
There are good road links to the motorway system via the A38/A30. Railway links to London, Paddington, can be made locally at Par, and St. Austell and there are flights to London and other destinations from Newquay.
Situated on North Street one of the most popular and convenient streets in Fowey within level walking distance of the town, harbour, car parks and easy access to bars restaurants and all other local amenities.
The Property - A delightful, charming and immaculately kept three bedroom period cottage. Renovated by the current owner to a very high standard and very cleverly designed to make the most of the space and excellent views. Currently a successful holiday let (please ask for further information), but would suit equally as lovely main residence.
The accommodation has been reversed with two twin bedrooms on the ground floor, family bathroom to the rear comprising of a bath, handheld shower head, sink and WC and heated towel rail. There is a very handy utility room with space for washing machine, tumble dryer and upright fridge freezer. A door gives access to the rear of the property.
A central staircase winds its way up to the main open plan living area which enjoys glorious views over the Fowey estuary to Prime Cellars a historic and iconic Fowey property only accessed by the water.
The central staircase acts as a divide between the sitting area with doors out to the courtyard and garden, and the kitchen/dining area. Much thought went into the design of the well appointed kitchen giving plenty of storage cupboards, worksurface with an integral oven, gas hob and dishwasher. There is a space for an upright fridge freezer.
Conveniently there is a WC and sink on this level.
Stairs rise up to the 2nd floor which is a beautiful presented principal bedroom. Full of character yet crisp and light with stunning views over the Estuary from dormer windows, this room also boasts an ensuite bathroom with shower over, sink with vanity unit and WC.
Outside - From the living room, patio doors open onto a seating area where steps rise up through the generous terraced gardens offering opportunities to sit and admire the view. At the top of the garden is a large decking area where you can immerse yourself in the most glorious, panoramic views over the Fowey estuary. The garden is bursting with potential and must been seen to be fully appreciated.

Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
