A gorgeous Grade II cottage, offered in excellent decorative order and with heaps of character. The property is within less than 20 metres, from one set of the gates, to the historic Dunster Castle.

The cottage offers a sitting room with a large open fireplace, which has a log burner fitted. There is a fitted kitchen, with a matching dresser included and a dining room. On the first floor, there is a study landing, two bedrooms and a fitted bathroom. There is also a door onto an interesting roof terrace, which overlooks the courtyard garden. The property has gas central heating.

No Onward Chain.

The cottage would make an ideal holiday let (which it has been, in the past), with all year round visitors, coming to see Dunster and The Exmoor National Park. Alternatively, it would make a lovely permanent home and the very popular Dunster First School is within a 200 metres.

Dunster Village is one of the most popular villages in the South West and has a wonderful community heart, with the local children's play park (approximately 350 metres) being created and maintained by villagers and private donation. The village holds the famous, "Dunster By Candlelight" every December and other events, in the grounds of The Dunster Tithe Barn.

Minehead is less than a mile away and the town offers a range of local and feature shops, along with three supermarkets, First, and Middle Schools and The West Somerset College.
From Our Webbers Office in Minehead, head East out of Minehead on the A39, signposted towards Taunton and Bridgwater. After approximately 1/2 mile, take the right filter at the traffic lights, signposted into Dunster. Head up Dunster Steep, into the village, and follow the road around to the left, entering The High Street. At the traffic lights, follow the road to the right, entering Church Street and continue into West Street. Castle View will be found on the left hand side. Look for the distinctive, Webbers Estate Agents' for sale board.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on December 21, 2021

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on December 21, 2021

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area
