For the road commuter, Orwell is well placed for the A10, which in turn gives further access to the M11 and to the south, the M25 and London.
Local amenities include a village primary school, hairdressers, village store & post office and pub/restaurant. There are additional facilities in Royston, including a market that takes place every Wednesday and Saturday.
