We loved living on Baring Road. The house feels cosy & quiet during the Winter, while in the Summer the garden is great for sunbathing & BBQs! The neighbours are very friendly & considerate, & it's great having such lovely parks nearby - Northbrook Park, Chinbrook Meadows & Manor Park are all a short walk away. Lee high street & Blackheath both have lovely shops, pubs & things to do. There are lots of great takeaways, our favourites are Sapori D'Italia for pizza & Saka Maka or Panas Gurkha for curry.

For commuters, Lee station is less than 10 minutes walk away, with fast trains into London Bridge, Cannon Street, Waterloo and Charing Cross. The DLR from Lewisham makes it easy to get to East London. Despite being in Zone 3, being so close to the A20 means you can get out of the city very quickly if you're heading away on a trip
