The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre and has off street parking. The train station is a 10 minute walk and has regular direct trains to London Paddington. The station is great for nights or days out in Oxford which is just 20 minutes by train. On the ground floor is a fully fitted kitchen diner with doors through to a large open sitting room with fireplace and gas effect wood burner. The ground floor has high ceilings which gives the rooms a very spacious feel and a downstairs toilet.
On the middle floor is the master bedroom which is a very large sunny room with wall-to-wall wardrobes. The French doors open out onto a lovely balcony looking out over the countryside towards Cornbury park and this is a great place to sit with a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine when the sun sets. The large en-suite bathroom has a large shower and a double bath. There is also a good sized double bedroom on the middle floor with built in wardrobes.
On the top floor there are two more double bedrooms (one with countryside views) and a family bathroom with bath and shower.
Outside there is an enclosed courtyard garden which is South West facing so gets the sun for most of the day. There is also a large shed which is great for storage. Overall the house offers very spacious accommodation close to the centre of Charlbury without the price tag of the “chocolate box” cottage and has the added benefit of off street parking.
