Testament to the property, the current owner has been in occupation for over 50 years.

Believed to date from the late 16th Century with later additions, the property is of timber framed construction, presenting painted brick and rendered elevations beneath plain tiled roofs. Arranged over three storeys and extending to some 3,800 sq ft, the generously proportioned accommodation offers views to the River Deben and to the coast from the upper floors.

The ground floor offers a central dining room, with oak chamfered cross beam and large brick fireplace, beyond is the principal reception room and garden room, whilst to the front of the property is the generous library/snug. The kitchen/breakfast room and adjacent study/playroom link to the rear terrace with service rooms and cloakroom beyond.

Two independent staircases rise to the first floor to access four bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a further staircase leading to a spacious fifth bedroom.
