What the owner says...

For us, this house has offered the perfect blend of city living and suburban bliss. The quick stroll to the station makes the commute to London a doddle and we love that we're only a quick drive from the rolling hills of the Downs and its country pubs in one direction, and the amazing beach and all Brighton has to offer in the other.

The garage means we can park two cars (one a large SUV) as well as store bikes and paddle boards. The leafy garden has a tropical feel, and we love spending long lazy summer evenings sitting out with friends over a BBQ.

Year round, we enjoy following the sunshine from balcony to balcony - a morning coffee and an evening beer. The triple glazed windows give all the protection you'll ever need from outside noise and we adore the high ceilings and spacious living room which means the house is always flooded with natural light.

The open-plan kitchen and dining room have been perfect for dinner parties and the two bedrooms on the middle floor offers ample space for guests to sleep, without sacrificing the home office. The flexibility of the huge master suite has meant we've been able to use it as a gym, office space and nursery as needed.

We're really sad to be leaving our oasis - and wouldn't be if we didn't want to bring up our child somewhere closer to family.
