Built in 2015, Mayflower is an immaculately presented detached home with modern living in mind. The elevated position coupled with oak, glazed gables and decked terraces maximise the space and light and the views over the River Dart are simply stunning. Finished to a high standard throughout with wooden floors and vaulted ceilings, the result is simply exquisite and stepping through the large and impressive oak front door into the welcoming entrance hall really sets the tone for what is to come.

French doors from both the kitchen and dining area lead to a full width decked terrace which is the perfect spot to take in the views. The generous sitting room is a real treat, with feature corner woodburner, benefits from bi-fold doors to a decked terrace to one end and French doors to a paved terrace at the other and is simply exquisite. There is also a convenient cloakroom on this floor. The lower ground floor offers a fabulous principal bedroom with French doors to the terrace and garden, en suite shower room and dressing room. Beyond this there are a further three double bedrooms, all of which enjoy French doors to the terrace and garden and one of which is en suite. There is also a family bathroom, a utility/laundry room and a wonderful cinema room.

Outside to the front there is a lovely garden with is paved and terraced. A raised terrace with hot tub is the perfect spot to take in the incredible views. To the rear, there is a beautiful enclosed terrace and beyond this a detached double garage with studio above and driveway parking. Subject to necessary planning consents the garage could easily be converted into a separate self contained unit.

Location

Mayflower is nestled in the heart of the village of Dittisham. Sitting on the west bank of the River Dart, Dittisham is one of the most attractive and unspoilt villages in Devon with a thriving community and offers a combined village pub / post office / general store, a further waterside pub, a popular sailing club and an al fresco seafood cafe, The Anchorstone Café. As well as good walking opportunities, there is a ferry linking Dittisham to Dartmouth and to the National Trust owned Greenway, the former home of Agatha Christie. The village also benefits from a dinghy park and The Ham, a wonderful playing field on the banks of the River Dart. The nearby riverside town of Dartmouth, home to the Britannia Royal Naval College, provides a comprehensive range of amenities including shops, boutiques, pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are leisure facilities at the Sports' Centre and The Flavel Arts’ Centre provides a cinema, theatre and exhibition space. The nearby Market Totnes both offer a comprehensive range of facilities. The A38 Expressway is about 17 miles to the north which in turn leads to the M5 at Exeter.
