This modern, detached four bedroom family property has been redesigned with "upside down" accommodation to maximise the effect of the impressive natural light on offer at the first floor level. Nappers Mite is set right in the heart of the lovely country village of Broughton within the Test Valley near Stockbridge.

A covered porch leads through to the central hallway on the ground floor from which all the bedrooms radiate. There is also a Fired Earth shower room on this level as well as useful utility room and two separate storage cupboards.

Stairs lead up into the spacious, open-plan first floor living accommodation. Here there are defined spaces for seating, dining and an attractive contemporary kitchen, with all areas tied together by beautiful oak flooring. Beyond the kitchen there is a family area with doors opening onto a sun deck at the rear of the house. A cloakroom is also located at the top of the stairs on this floor.

To one side of the house there is ample off road parking for several cars and to the other side is an enclosed area of low-maintenance courtyard style garden.

Stockbridge 4.6 miles, Grateley Station 6.4 miles (London Waterloo from 77 minutes), Winchester 13 miles (London Waterloo from 58 minutes), Salisbury 13 miles, Southampton Airport 17 miles.(Distances and time approximate).

Broughton is a thriving village with excellent amenities including a Post Office and shop, doctor's surgery, primary school, village hall, church and two pubs. The nearby Georgian village of Stockbridge has a wider range of facilities including a butcher, a range of boutique shops and some excellent restaurants.

Broughton Primary School and Test Valley Secondary School are the catchment area schools. Other schools in the area include Farleigh, Norman Court, Pilgrims', Stroud, St Swithun's School for Girls and Winchester College for boys as well as Chafyn Grove and Godolphin.

There is a frequent direct train service from Winchester to London Waterloo, as well as a service from Grateley village (about 6 miles away).

    Broadband availability and predicted speed

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area
