The town has a strong community and provides good day-to-day shopping together with a hospital and schools for all ages including a sixth form college. In addition there are plenty of recreational facilities including a bowling green, tennis courts, golf clubs and football pitches along with the beautiful Blenheim Gardens.

The County town of Taunton is just 24 miles to the South and offers a further range of high street shops, restaurants as well as public and state schools. Minehead also has great access to the M5 and the A303. A direct train to London Paddington is also available from Taunton train station in approximately two hours.

Description - A delightful period thatched cottage that retains a wealth of character. This quintessential cottage is a delightful home in the centre of Minehead.

Accommodation - The entrance of the cottage leads into a central hallway with space for coats and boots, the stairs are tucked away for entrance to the first floor. To the left of the hallway is a spacious living room with a feature fireplace inset and wooden beams overhead. The dining room, off from the right of the hallway benefits from an old Range cooker and plenty of room for a large dining table, to the right of the fireplace is an inset glass fronted display cupboard. Towards the rear of the house is a shower room with a WC, shower and hand basin. The pretty kitchen is fitted with wall and base units and benefits from an integrated oven and hob, with room for a small breakfast table with views and a stable door out to the garden.

Upstairs are two spacious double bedrooms with lots of room for storage. Bedroom 1 has a large window and plenty of room for storage. Bedroom 2 has built in bookshelves and plenty of storage space. The family bathroom is beautifully fitted with a WC, bath and hand basin with a skylight overhead bringing lots of light into the bathroom.
