A really very special Forest Cottage, situated in this idyllic location. Words and photos will simply not do it justice. This early 20th century cottage has been the much-loved home to the current owners for many years. Surrounded by fields and open common land this property comes with forest rights, and spacious and versatile accommodation. The cottage itself has an abundance of character with a spacious triple aspect sitting room featuring a large bay window overlooking the garden. There is a separate dining room with views over the forest, a kitchen/breakfast room with oil fired Stanley stove that powers the hot water and heating system and a ground floor shower room. Upstairs there are three bright and airy bedrooms, two of which benefit from recently refitted and very stylish en-suites.
In addition to the cottage accommodation, there is further accommodation connected by a covered pergola. Originally four stables, they have been converted into two office spaces, a store & a photographic dark room. The double garage has twin doors to the front and access through to a workshop, where you will also find a hatch leading to a wine cellar. Above the garage and stables, a private door opens to a self-contained living space featuring a ground floor kitchen/utility and upstairs living room, bedroom and shower room. This has previously been used as a self-contained annexe and holiday let.
Outside, the location of the Cottage is absolutely stunning with views of surrounding fields/paddocks. The garden is mainly laid to lawn with a stone barbeque, storage shed and a well. The various planted shrubs provide year-round colour, including two mature wisterias’ adorning the front and rear of the cottage. There is a large patio taking advantage of the southerly aspect and views over the adjoining fields. To the front through the gate and over the cattle grid is a large driveway allowing parking for several vehicles.
Bramshaw, one of the most attractive New Forest villages, provides an excellent range of facilities to include village hall, church, two well renowned golf courses, two country public houses, hotels, restaurants and garage. The New Forest offers thousands of acres of unspoilt moors, heath and woodland for those with walking and equestrian pursuits. For those with interests in yachting Hamble, Lymington and Poole are all within easy driving distance. The cathedral city of Salisbury is situated about 14 miles to the north. The M27 at Cadnam is about 2 miles distant.

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on March 3, 2023
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on March 3, 2023
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on August 7, 2013 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
