The larger village of North Petherton is 4 miles away and has a range of amenities, convenience stores, pub, primary schools and Inns together with junction 24 of the M5 motorway. Directions - Leave Taunton in a northerly direction along Cheddon road and proceed through the village of Rowford and past Hestercombe house on the right-hand side. Continue on Volis hill, following the signs to Broomfield. At the top of the hill, a staggered crossroads will be found, here continue straight over and proceed downhill into the valley. Continue up through to the other side of the valley and Spring Cottage is the second property on the right-hand side.
