From the cobbled square in Moretonhampstead walk to the main road past the hairdressers and the Gateway Restaurant and on the corner by the library you will see Fore Street. Cross the road to Fore Street and where the road broadens into a small square The Chimes is on the right.

A broad panelled front door with a semi circular glazed panel above and stained glass leads into the hallway.

The hall has an original Victorian mosaic tiled floor, there is a ceiling rose and a wall mounted brass and wood light switch. The wide staircase leads to the first floor and two panelled doors lead to the dining room and sitting room.

Sitting room - 14' 7'' x 11' 7'' (4.44m x 3.53m)
This is an attractive room with a shuttered sash window with secondary glazing and a window seat, a moulded coved ceiling, a deep under stairs recess with a T.V point and space for bookshelves and a deep fireplace with a slate hearth, a wooden surround and mantel.
