* Vendors comments * "This has been our home since 2016 and we have since welcomed our two children, now aged 2 years and 6 weeks! We fell in love with this very typical Victorian house, still full of period features nestled in a cul-de-sac with neighbours we’ve come to know by their first names. Most of the neighbours have been here for 20 years or are young parents like us. Our eldest has been learning to walk and cycle in our very private and safe resident-only street.
We spend a lot of time in our kitchen, which we recently renovated, having breakfast and looking at the birds feeding in the birds house. The garden is south facing with a generous stoned area which is perfect for long summer dinners with friends. We often invite our next-door neighbours who have been so fabulous from day one.
On the first floor, we have two beautiful, bright and airy double bedrooms where we have exposed the original floorboards and original fireplaces, adding more charm to our family home. There is also a huge bathroom perfect for the family. On the top floor, there is a beautiful en-suite with great views looking north and south over the surrounding area. Our daughter loves looking at sunrise and sunset from this room. This is also a perfect room for guests and a home office.
We also have one toilet on each floor totaling three toilets, which is a real find and especially practical for a family.
We absolutely adore this home and have been very happy getting the family bigger but we now need to move closer to family to allow grandparents to see their grandchildren more often. We really value being 20 minutes walk from either Thornton Heath or Crystal Palace stations allowing us to travel either via train or underground.
Thornton Heath had the best and most affordable cobbler across the station and a huge Tesco. The library is also quite a nice space to read or work from. Crystal Palace is known for the Triangle, which is a bustling treasure of independent boutiques and cafes and a great place to meet with friends and family. We have our very own Everyman Cinema and a couple of thriving pubs with great all-day breakfasts! We also have a brilliant artisan food market on a Saturday and another in the park on Sunday as well as a pirate radio with its own cafe!
The library is also lovely with a huge space for kids. We will dearly miss the Triangle; it is for sure one of the most special places in London."

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on January 11, 2022
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on January 11, 2022
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on November 14, 2015 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
