There is a direct rail service from Crewe to London Euston (about 1 hour 35 minutes) and from Chester (about 2 hours). International airports at Liverpool and Manchester are also within easy reach.
The Cathedral City of Chester (about 7 miles) is one of the north west's leading retail and commercial centres and offers an extensive range of shops and restaurants. The creative arts are well catered for and each summer Grosvenor Park plays host to what has been described as "the finest outdoor theatre experience outside London". The Chester Literature Festival takes place in October and is attended by some of the UK's most respected authors and literary personalities.
