Property description & features

  • Tenure: Freehold
"We have lived at Elliscombe Road for 14 years and love the house and road. We have left London a few times to travel but the house continues to draw us home!

We have taken our time to completely redecorate and modernise inside, with a new kitchen being the final stage (fitted in 2021). We love entertaining and have grown up in the house, from our late 20s into our early 40s, it has evolved with us into a family home.

Although we love the house as it is, there is scope to do so much more, with the potential of a loft conversion.

Elliscombe Road is a unique street, it is so unbelievably quiet, you'd be forgiven to thinking you weren't in London. Everyone remarks upon how well they sleep as it's so quiet! The garden is a real wow factor with neighbours only to the sides and the privacy of the woods behind us. It has been a labour of love and we will miss our summer days out there.

We look forward to passing the house on to someone that will enjoy it as much as we have."

What The Agent Says -

We agree with the sellers, this a terrific house on a highly desirable road!

It has a spacious living-dining room, extended kitchen-diner, downstairs W.C., four large bedrooms (currently laid out as three bedrooms), a family bathroom, and a beautiful 70ft. garden with seating areas and mature trees behind.

Located close to Charlton Station, Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer's, and is also near to Blackheath, Greenwich, and North Greenwich tube station.

Viewing is highly recommended.

Tenure: Freehold
Council Tax: Greenwich Band D

"When it comes to choosing an estate agent it can be a really tough choice as many look the same...... don't they?  This is not true and we can prove why we are indeed....... ‘a refreshing change’. At Conran Estates we really understand the needs of our customers and if you don't believe this then let us prove it to you. Having traded in the past three decades we have a wealth of experience and understand how you tick. We have thousands of happy customers and many have told of their experience on this site by writing great testimonials about their experiences dealing with us.  Just go to the Testimonial tab and hear what they have to say about us. We are undoubtedly the most transparent agent you will ever encounter.  As soon as you deal with us our Managing Director will drop you an email to introduce himself.  To find out what else Simon has to say then have a listen to him being interviewed by TV Presenter Sunita Shroff on this video opposite.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on January 20, 2022

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on January 20, 2022

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on July 30, 2015 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.

Any supplementary data should not be relied upon as forming part of any property particulars and OnTheMarket cannot be held responsible for any incorrectness in this data. See here for more information.

    *Call rate information

Calls to 0843 numbers will be charged at 4p/min from BT landlines. Calls from other networks may vary, and calls from mobiles and outside the UK will be higher. Calls to local numbers beginning with 01, 02 and 03 numbers will incur standard geographic charges from landlines and mobiles.
